'Politics in general is... about the visibilities of the place and the abilities of the body in those places, about the partition of private and public spaces, about the very configuration of the visible and the relation of the visible to what can be said about it.'
This seems to perfectly verbalise what it is about the domestic that I find most interesting at the moment and wish to explore in this final major project, and perhaps in my practice in the longer term.
I find myself constantly coming back to this passage as I am working, to influence my ideas and analyse my work in progress.
